People can recognize the way Christians love others. It's different than what is experienced in the world. As a church, we are continuously striving for relationships that build a strong community and help us grow in our love for Jesus.
We know that it can be difficult to visit a new church but don’t let this stop you from coming to worship with us. The info below is provided to help you know what to expect when you arrive.
When does church start?
Our main service starts at 11:00am on Sunday.
How do I get there?
We are located on Gant Lake Road (C 478a) exactly 3 miles from both 471 and hwy 50
How should I dress?
We believe that God desires our best. Some of our members wear jeans while others choose to wear a suit or dress. We just ask that you wear something you are comfortable calling your best.
Do I need to bring anything?
We recommend you bring a Bible but it is not a requirement. The preaching will be done from the King James Version Bible if you wish to follow along. A few people bring a pen and paper to take sermon notes.
Will I have to raise my hand or stand up?
No, we do not want you to feel embarrassed in any way. People may recognize that you are a visitor and say hello to make you feel welcome. The greeter may even ask you to fill out a card. However, you do not have to do anything you are uncomfortable with. We just want you to come and feel like you are among friends.
What is the church service like?
The average service will begin with singing both by the choir and audience. The music is mostly traditional with a focus on Jesus Christ. After music, there will be a sermon preached by the Pastor. An invitation is given for those who wish to pray alone or with the Pastor. Lastly, announcements are made and the service is dismissed in prayer. The typical service lasts about one hour from start to finish.
